Microsoft needs to keep its eye on Windows 8 tablets as the Visconte

GoMo predicts the size of prestige products will be slaughter to sales of PC desktop

Mulhern view gomo news in the eye

And London (and probably England's) most famous tourist attraction - the London Eye. GoMo News has only participated in the launch of a new range of Windows 8 tablets of prestige-based. One of the models in this range Visconte will look a socket for a SIM card 3G (offers speeds of up to 21 Mbit/s) but the actual launch that model was not in attendance. But never mind, GoMo showed conclusively though you have a SIM slot is a big advantage, it is not exactly a necessity. The interesting thing is that tablet ranges as the Visconte range will prove another nail in the coffin of the PC in the office environment.

Microsoft drops support for Windows XP in April 2014, the desktop PC is almost dead. The connected tablet will triumph.

To demonstrate that it is not necessarily vital to have a SIM slot on your Tablet PC, GoMo had brought along a prestigious Android phone - 5430, to provide connectivity.

Everything we had to do is go into the settings menu - then click 'More' in the Wireless option and menus, to reach 'Tethering & portable hotspot'. This turns on and you can share your 3 G connection.

That is exactly what we did. Up to hundreds of meters in the air on in London's South Bank (of the Thames), we could access to GoMo News using Tablet prestige Visconte.

These products are going to be price competitive (we forget to ask prices accurate on the 3G model), but better yet is the fact that these models come preloaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013.

GoMo had the opportunity to play with a tablet of prestige Visconte and found that they sport a very useful adjunct to established Windows users - a dedicated 'Windows' button.

What this means is that the millions of Windows users who are completely familiar with versions before Windows 8 really can find your way around.

There is also an indication that there is a "fully customizable screen startup / shutdown" in the range Visconte. If this help before Windows 8 is fans to see.

Anyway, GoMo News you can see many companies opt to replace your Windows XP PC redundant with tablets like this.

Given that those users will come to rely on the cloud for storage of vital personal data, we can see more demand for versions ready 3 G of those tablets that most industry observers predict.

So, only show can supply all your needs from the same provider connectivity, GoMo took an image of prestige (UK & Ireland) is Frank Mulhern bravely holding a Tablet Visconte, connected direct to GoMo News web site hundreds of meters in the London Eye.

The tablet was connected to the web via the hotspot 5430's (courtesy of Orange/EE) and the picture was even taken with the same 5430 acted as the hotspot provider. That is truly multi-tasking!
